Ancient Aztec, Maya, and Inca

Ancient Aztec, Maya, and Inca was a fun place to be back when they were around. In this paper it will talk about the development, important events/government, social classes, accomplishments, recourses, city/states, law, consequences, and how it ended. With many things that Aztec, Maya, and Inca had to do, they spent most of there time in the garden, or farming

Ancient Aztec began in 1325 because they saw an eagle with a snake in its mouth and it was sitting on a cactus. The Aztecs said that the eagle was a sign from the gods, so they built their new home there. In Ancient Maya, They began between 2600 BC and 1800 BC. They don't know how it developed. Ancient Inca began in 1438 AD. It began because they saw the sun and wanted to stay with it forever. They decided then that they should all get on to see the other amazing things that they were about to live in.

One important event that happened in Aztec was when Cortez conquered Aztec. Cortez killed Montezuma ll and became the ruler. People had mixed emotions about this. Cortez had an army and it was called Tlaxcala. Cortez also conquered Tenochtitlan. He began conquering when he was young. In Maya one important event was the Classic Age.  This time was when all of the art and agriculture took place. A lot of people that showed art or agriculture just did it because they did not have a job. In Ancient Inca one important event is when Pizzaro conquered Inca. He sailed to Peru and made a plan and then started ruling Inca.

Government in Aztec, Maya, and Inca was very important. Aztecs government was a Monarchy Government. They had one king, ruler, or emperor. They called their ruler Huey Tlatoani. He decided when to go to war. Mayas government was Theocracy. They had one god, which was the ruler. Incas government was Monarchy. They had a leader named Sapa Inca. Sapa Inca was one of the many great rulers they had. He was always working on something.

The Aztecs had three social classes. The top class were the Nobles, the second class were the Commoners, and the third class is the Servants and Slaves. The Nobles had to keep away from all alcohol. If they were caught with alcohol they died. They also received tribute from Commoners to refrain goods, services, and labor. They displayed wealth by wearing decorated caps and jewelry. The commoners were generally resided in calpulli or neighborhood words. They were led by Nobleman or Commoner elders. The aztec slaves worked on land that was owned by nobles. Individuals became slaves as a form of punishment. People could sell their self to be a slave to pay off any debt that they had. The slaves did all the housing and feeding to the Commoners and Nobles. Maya had three social classes. They had the Nobles which were the first class, the Priests which were the second class, they had the artisans which were the third class, and they had the slaves which were the  4th class and the last class. The nobles were in charge of the government and that kind of stuff. The Preists were in charge of the churches and they helped the nobles when the slaves or the artisans could not. The artisans were in charge of the farm work that was needed. They produced all the food. The slaves worked for all the classes. They did all the work. Inca has three social classes. The first one is the emperor which is the first class. The second class is the nobles. The third class is the commoners. The emperors are Sapa Inca and his family. His servants carry his statue around. The Inca Nobles are leaders that help the empire. They are very wealthy and high class. They had to help the government. And the Inca Commoners were the farmers, herders, and slaves. Most of inca was Commoners. They were required to support the government and to produce all the food and animals and do all the cleaning.

Aztec ended August 13, 1521. It ended because they went to Tenochtitlan and the Spaniards murdered thousands of Aztec Nobles During the Ceremony. Montezuma died under custody and his nephew took over. Tenochtitlan killed Montezuma's nephew and the empire fell.  Maya ended in 900 ad. They had abandoned it. They felt that they needed a new place to stay.  Inca ended in 900ad. They had abandoned it. They felt the same way as Maya did. They needed a new place to stay.

Ancient Aztec, Maya, and Inca was a great place to be. If you needed a place to stay, you went to Aztec, Maya, or Inca. They were great inventors and worked daily on farms and art. There Government was very important. I hope that you can read and learn more about Aztec, Maya, and Inca.
