8:25-9:40  - Reading groups and Daily 5 activities (small groups of no more than 6 - leveled to meet student needs

10:10-10:20 - Calendar and Morning Meeting - focuses on math, spelling, grammar skills 

10:25-10:50 - Writing mini lessons, independent writing time on student selected topics, sometimes assigned writing activities

10:50-11:25  - Phonics instruction - helps us to be better readers, writers and spellers

12:20-12:35 - Read Aloud (Sometimes fun, sometimes science, social studies or social emotional books)

12:35-1:40 - Math instruction in small groups and independent or partnered math station activities 

1:50-2:35 - P.E. and Music

2:40-3:05 - Science, Social Studies, Art, Nursing Home visits - alternates due to topics of study and time of year
