"Third Grade is a fun year to learn to work more independently,  to learn cursive handwriting, to manage behavior with a wallet of classroom money, to experience pioneer life, to delve into the Community of Inman's History by visiting the Inman Museum, to develop and run a lemonade stand, and to become a multiplication master!"

- Cindy DeMoss

"In third grade we study a variety of subjects including Pioneers, Forces and Motion, Customs and Cultures around the World, Electricity and Magnetism, Economics, Rights and Responsibilities, Ecosystems, Life Cycles, Habitats,Basic  Math skills, Fractions, Geometry, and Time. Students love the special activities we tag along onto our subjects. Some of these activities include Dressing as a Pioneer when we take our field trip to the Old Mill Meuseum in Lindsborg, Visiting the Inman Museum  and speaking with "Colonel Inman" himself, and having the students create there own lemonade stands."
